Hello friends and happy Wednesday! I hope you are making it through your week slowly but surely towards Friday.
I have been wanting to start a blog series called Monthly Mantras where I talk about the saying or mindset I am trying to keep throughout the entire month. I feel like it is very important to have a positive mantra to motivate you and keep you on track.
This April, my mantra is “less stressed, more blessed.”
Lately in my life I notice myself focusing on the things that are stressing me out more than I am focusing on the blessings God has given me. I worry too much about what assignments I have coming up, the test grade I got, the many meetings I have that, and so many other things. My mind is constantly racing with all the bad that I forget the blessings in the mundane or even in the things that are stressing me out.
I am blessed in the fact that I get the opportunity to learn. I am blessed that I am in college. I am blessed to wake up every morning, getting to experience life. There are so many more blessings and I try to recognize them every day, even in my moments of stress.
Reminding myself of God’s goodness and his gifts are just a simple way this month that I want to keep a positive mindset. I hope you guys will do the same and remind yourself to be less stressed and more blessed. I also really recommend writing your monthly mantra on a sticky note and putting it somewhere you would see it each day.
