Apple of My Eye

Hello friends! I hope everyone’s Tuesday is going well. This past weekend, I got to check an item off of both my 101 in 1001 list and my fall bucket list. I got to go apple picking! Holy moly me oh my this event was the apple of my eye!

My sorority had a unity event where we went to Showalter’s Orchards for a couple hours. New members as well as sisters got to go and it was a lot of fun!

I took lots of pictures, which is honestly the whole point of any fall activity. I got to pick about 10 apples (help a girl out and send some yummy apple recipes for me to try with them because I have too many apples). I also got to buy some mini apple cider donuts as well as a gallon of apple cider (I’m not crazy doing this I swear I just love it).

The most fun part of the day though, honestly, was being able to meet some new friends and hangout with some older ones too. My little and I had a blast trying to pick apples from the top of the tree or trying to feed each other an apple (the idea sounded a lot cuter in my head).
